Email Settings

To Use 3rd party software to access your Green Bay Net email over IMAP or POP (Recommended only for the advanced user)

Email Software such as Outlook Express, Mozilla Thunderbird or Outlook can be used to access your email and download it to your PC, Mac, and/or smart phone.  Green Bay Net does not recommend using these options for the average user, however. Server settings are as follows:

     Incoming Mail:  mail.greenbaynet.com

• IMAP4: port 143 
• SSL IMAP4 (only use if directed to by an IT Professional): port 993

• POP3: port 110
• SSL POP3: port 995

     Outgoing Mail:  mail.greenbaynet.com

•   port 587 (use SSL/TLS only if direced to by an IT Professional)

Note: You must authenticate using [email protected] and password to send email. Failure to do so will likely result in your messages being tagged as "SPAM", or not sending at all.
