For those of us in our 30's and 40's, Star Wars represents a significant story of our childhoods. The end of the original trilogy, of course, was "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi" (usually called "Jedi" for short). This was a milestone achievement in cinema and special effects. We had "hot" Leia, "unfrozen" Han, and Jedi Luke. It was a memorable piece of pop-culture that endures. Of course, like the attached photo alludes, there is the controversy of the Ewok. For 30 years, the word evokes strong responses in Star Wars fans. Did Lucas "jump the shark"?
If you don't know, Ewoks are those cute, cuddly little bear-things that assisted our heroes in the evacuation of the Empire from the Galaxy (you know, the one that's "far, far away") in Return of the Jedi.
So. how much do you love Ewoks? Shoot us your answers, one-liners, and - give in to your feelings, young Jedis. Do not fear the Dark Side of the Force.
Have a great holiday weekend!
